Sky Painter Fireworks
In a design class, we were challenged to redesign the logo for a fireworks company and then redesign the packaging for a demographic that is uninterested in the typical gaudy fireworks packaging. I started by choosing a font that was both legible and also felt a bit modern to appeal to my audience and stacked the type. To bring some interest into the logo, I switched out the "o" for a firework burst. For the logo colors, I used a navy blue, which is meant to represent the night sky, which will be “painted” by fireworks. My idea behind the packaging is that this demographic is not as concerned about what is happening on the packaging of the fireworks, they are willing to spend a bit more for a luxury experience, so this metal packaging provides that as well it is repurposable and much more pleasing to have around than a typical firework package.
