In another Design class, we got the opportunity to work with the Great Lakes Loons to create some different designs for Lou E. Loon’s annual birthday celebration game. Within this project, we were given access to the Loons logo assets and specific brand colors to work with. I first created a version of the mascot holding a candle as a bat to create a fun visual that I could use for the big billboards in the stadium. Along with this, I designed some billboard layouts and large poster layouts. Another asset I created was a hot dog with candles in it, which is meant to replace Lou E.’s birthday cake and tie back to the ballpark theme. In 2025 I entered one of the wall ads I made into the American Advertising Awards and received a Student Bronze Award.
