Flos Cannabis

Flos Cannabis in Kalkaska, Michigan, held a design competition for their first artist’s series in which artists were allowed creative liberty in designing five different bags for five strains. Additionally, the company provided me with a Pinterest board with the overall look and feel of their brand so that we could work within what they are going for. I started by sketching out images for each of the strains before starting on the layout. Typically, these bags aren’t looked at or kept for too long so I wanted to create eye-catching designs that were still fairly simple. For the layout, I also kept it pretty simple and kept room for them to add the sticker which has the specific information based on that batch.
